Sunday Services

The most important event of our church is our regular Sunday service at 10:30 a.m. You may enter the Meeting House through either front door, facing Court Street, or through the Parish House door on School Street. There is a ramp at the Parish House door, and an elevator offers handicap access between the Parish House and the Meeting House.
Our minister, Mark Worth, usually conducts our service three or four Sundays per month. On other Sundays we hear from guest ministers or student ministers, and occasionally, lay persons who have stimulating ideas and different points of view to offer.
Our Sunday school also meets at 10:30 during the school year. Call to see if Sunday school programs are available during the summer. Childcare is offered every Sunday year round. During the school year, the children join us for the announcements, the opening hymn, opening words, and a "time for all ages." They then adjourn to the Parish House for religious education groups.
Music is very important to our celebration of life. Our organist is Gena Churchill. Gena leads our choir, which generally sings once a month, and she sometimes plays the piano or harpsichord. For a special treat, our artists in residence, the Bagaduce Chamber Players, occasionally offer a "music Sunday."
After each service, we gather in the Parish House for coffee, snacks, and conversation. Visitors are welcome. On the third Sunday of the month, September through May, we have a potluck after the service. Please join us, no contribution is necessary!
